Registrations for the 2022 Dunlop Cup season will open on Wednesday December 1st.
With the 2021 edition behind us, the Dunlop Cup is ready to unveil the first official communications for next season. Given the success, the division for both classes in PRO and ROOKIE will be reconfirmed, with relative rankings and separate awards. For the barrier, and therefore for the formation of the grids for the entire season, the best-laps scored by the riders in their past on the Misano and Mugello circuits will be examined; the best time achieved on the Romagna track, added to that signed on the Tuscan track, will decide the destination in the championship. Specifically, as regards the 600, if the result of this sum in seconds will be higher than 226.00, the rider will be entered in the cat. ROOKIE; if, on the other hand, the sum should be less than 226.00 seconds, he will enter the PROs. The same goes for the colleagues of the 1000, with the barrier coefficient set at 220.50 seconds: above you are ROOKIE, below you are PRO. Chronological references will be screened and certified by the FIM.
As usual, based on the number of registrations, each class will then have 2 sub-categories in relation to age: masters over 35 and under 35 for the 600cc, masters over 45 and under 45 for the 1000cc. The additional points reserved for the pole-man of the weekend as well as the author of the fastest lap in every single race are also confirmed, regardless of the final result under the checkered flag.As for the novelties, the inclusion of Dunlop KR-slick tires also stands out in the 600 class.

R02 03/05 June VALLELUNGA
R03 01/03 July MUGELLO
R04 26/28 August MUGELLO
