Moto4 is the new entry level category designed for young enthusiasts, eager to start their career on high wheels without investing too muhc money. In 2023 the minimum age limit to participate is set at 13 years.
The MES Moto4 represents the entrance to the world of “grown-ups”: it is a class designed for all those young two-wheel enthusiasts, aged at least 13, who wish to approach racing on technical and long circuits, with motorcycles by 17 inches. It is a balanced and low cost training category: in other words, it is ideal for growing and improving.
The costs of motor sport have made modern motorcycling an elitist sport for the few. However, the MES Trophies will also try to go counter-fired next season, proposing training categories that require a limited budget.
Moto4 is a class in which the technical regulations will be armored and essential, designed with the aim of remaining as low-cost as possible. The objective is to offer a grid with absolute parity of technical conditions which thus leads to the maximum exaltation of the young talent.
Motorcycles allowed
In the Moto4 MES all motorcycles traceable on the Moto4 market are admitted, with a retail price of less than 9,500.00 euros + VAT. From 2023, it will also be possible to use 150 cc engines, such as the used ones that are used in Spain in the ESBK, up to 250 cc, single cylinder. Also admitted are the Bucci, MotoP, Aprilia RS 250 SP and SP2, protagonists in the CIV Junior, the RF 300, the Spanish BeOn and MIR and all those bikes designed by Italian and foreign trainers who will be free to indulge themselves thanks to the complete freedom allowed as regards the preparation of the frame and chassis.
The race will be run on Dunlop mono-tyres, with the number of tires allowed for the weekend limited to a single train, which can be purchased from the Dunlop Racing Service present in the paddock during the championship rounds.
