The second Cup to be added for 2022 can now be announced
The FIM MiniGP Austrian Series will be the second Cup added to the 2022 FIM MiniGP World Series. The Cup will have five rounds, beginning in May and ending in August, at circuits around Austria.
The Cup will begin at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg and end in the same place, with three dates in between the season opener and the finale.
The FIM MiniGP World Series is the first step on the Road to MotoGP™, designed to create an equal platform for young riders worldwide and increase their skill and opportunity.
The new FIM MiniGP Austrian Series, starting in 2022, will provide the perfect entry level stepping-stone for young riders across the country looking to begin their path to becoming a motorcycle racer. The best riders will qualify for the FIM MiniGP World Final alongside the top riders from each country, with the possibility of promotions up for grabs on the Road to MotoGP™.
