RFME CAMPUS: WHERE YOU LEARN FROM THE VERY BEST
The RFME Women’s Motorcycle Commission held a “MiniSpeed Campus” last weekend at the Ariza Racing Circuit. A total of 17 riders attended the meeting where María Herrera and Beatriz Neila were the tutors.
It was practically a matter of spending three days together, united by motorcycling and with the aim of learning from the very best. The Toledo track was perfectly prepared for the occasion and at the end of the day the riders returned home wanting more and more.
Campus for everybody
If something in particular characterized this Campus, it was the presence of experienced riders such as Cristina Juarranz, Sara Román or Marta Herencia and some of the younger ones such as Nora García, Valentina González (5 years) or Arancha Alonso (6 years).
The weather was good so it was possible to ride a lot. Both María and Beatriz did it with the young riders, correcting some mistakes in the participants. Both were thrilled by the level shown especially by the youngest ones.
In addition to track activity, training sessions were also held with Kevin González, physical trainer and current coach of María Herrera. As well as games and training similar to those carried out by the riders of the world championships.
To conclude the Campus on Sunday, the Team Aspar rider put up for grabs in a lottery the material she has held since the World Cup, such as gloves, goggles, etc. It goes without saying how enthusiastic the young members were.
The next RFME Women’s Commission Campus will be on 11 and 12 December in La Bastida de Tost, Lleida, for the Enduro, Cross Country, Hard Enduro and Superenduro specialties. Registrations are already open.
